Omaha Police say a mystery involving a patient at Bergan Mercy Hospital and the car that dropped the patient off has been resolved. There was no criminal activity associated with the case.
The matter surfaced on Wednesday when a patient was dropped off at the hospital with serious injuries.
The person who left the patient there drove away without giving any information about how the injuries were incurred. The patient couldn’t provide the information.
That patient was eventually identified and police continued the search for the vehicle but on Friday night they said they have now determined that this is not a police matter.
