Omaha firefighters responded to a report of a building collapse near 25th and Farnam Monday night. When they arrived, they found that part of a roof collapsed. It appears two people suffered minor injuries. One was transported by ambulance.
It happened at the International Food Mart on South 25th Street, between Farnam and Douglas St.
The owner of the building tells Channel 6 News that the worst of the injuries involve a few scratches. Our camera from atop the First National Tower a few blocks away showed the roof collapsed along the back side of the building.
