Paralyzed Veterans Ripped Off

It's happened to churches and pre-schools so maybe we shouldn't be surprised that the Paralyzed Veterans of America building in Omaha was broken into by thieves.

Randy Squier is the President of the local facility. "We're trying to help a lot of people in the community not just veterans but other disabled people in the community. That's our mission," said Squier.

The garage on the north end of their property was broken into during the overnight hours. "The items that were taken were not as significant as the idea of being broken into and violated," added Squier.

Thieves got away with power tools and other equipment valued at nearly $1,000. "We'll probably just try and get by without them," said Squier.
