Some toddlers already celebrated Halloween Wednesday morning. It was the second year for the Toddler Trick-or-Treat in downtown Papillion.
The event was sponsored by the Sump Memorial Library and organizers said over 200 people showed up to collect candy. In the crowd, children were dresses as lady bugs, Spider-Man and even a jet pilot.
Two-year-old Brady Ross dressed liked his dad, who is currently serving with the Air Force in Japan. "It's great, it's nice and warm right now and it's a great thing, it's fun. "This is our fifth trick-or-treating and we are going to do one later, lots of trick-or-treating,” Rachel Ross, Brady’s mother, said.
The Papillion Fire Department was also on hand handing out candy and showing off one of their fire engines. Organizers said the event was geared for little ones who have to go to sleep early or don't get a chance to show off their costumes with the big kids.
