Papillion has, once again, made it into the Top 10 list of Money Magazine's Best Places To Live in 2013.
The home of the Monarchs and Titans came in at number eight in 2013. Money Magazine looked for places with the optimal combination of economic strength, job growth, affordability, good schools, diversity, health care, a strong sense of community and more.
Papillion has been on the list several times, it is routinely named for having affordable housing, top-notch schools, and tons of green space. The magazine also noted that Papillion is the home of several major employers.
The only cons listed: few stores Downtown and very few options for fine-dining.
Sharon, Massachusetts stole the top spot in 2013. It is 22 miles from Boston and has a population of nearly 18,000. Money Magazine listed the easy commute to good jobs, excellent schools, and New England small-town charm as its best features. The cons of Sharon are high home prices and lack of big name retail.
