For the first time since the collapse at International Nutrition the Maintenance Supervisor is speaking out exclusively to WOWT 6 News. The two men killed in the tragedy worked directly under him.

Duanne Stout sat in between his two daughters. They were there for support. It’s been a tough week and half for them.

Duanne works at International Nutrition and was there during the collapse. While he wasn’t seriously injured, the two men that worked directly under him were killed, David Ball, a mechanic and Keith Everett, a janitor.

It’s still tough for Duanne to talk about. “It’s a day by day basis. It’s tough because David was one of my best friends.”

Duanne wiped away tears as he talked about David, his hunting partner. “He didn’t have a bad bone in his body. He was just electrifying and his laugh it would just get to you,” said Duanne.

As for Keith, Duanne said he was one of the best janitors he ever had.

Now as he tries to heal after this tragedy, his daughters Alyssa and Stacey are planning something to help. They want to not only support their dad, but everyone at International Nutrition, so they’ve organized a fundraiser for the victims and their families.

“It's a way to bring everyone together, because the best way get through this tragedy is together,” said Alyssa.

They’re getting through it the best way they can, but still hoping for answers. “Just closure, what went wrong, that’s all I want to know,” said Duanne.

The Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 9th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ralston Arena. Anyone can attend. It costs $5 to get in. There will be raffles, a silent auction, and t-shirts. All the proceeds will go to the victims and their families. Click here for more information.
