One person was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation after fire broke out at a home near North 40th and Pratt streets in Omaha Wednesday morning.
Fire crews tell WOWT 6 News the fire started inside of a wall. "The longer that these progress, you've got ice accumulation, you've got wear on the crews, so quick response time to situations like this is highly important," said OFD Battalion Chief Rob Gottsch.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
