Police say alcohol was a factor in an accident that sent an Omaha driver to the hospital in serious condition Wednesday morning.
Twenty-four-year-old Antonio Minor was heading eastbound on Grant Street when he went through a stop sign at 21st Street, drove over the curb and struck a concrete wall around 2:15 a.m.
Minor was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of a punctured lung and multiple fractures to his right leg.
