A crash on Interstate 80 between Waverly and Greenwood injured one person and brought westbound traffic to a standstill Sunday afternoon.
The Nebraska State Patrol says a driver in the right lane lost control and the car went off the road around 4:30 p.m. The driver then over corrected, causing the car to go back onto the highway across both lanes and smash into the concrete barrier. The collision caused the vehicle to roll.
The driver was not hurt, but a passenger was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
