Rescue crews had to take their time after responding to a rollover crash at 52nd and Ames in Omaha Friday morning.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a power pole, knocking it and live wires to the ground around 12:30 a.m. OPPD had to come out and evaluate the dangers surrounding those wires before the scene could be cleaned up.
Emergency responders told Channel 6 News two people inside the vehicle weren't wearing seat belts. However, only the driver needed to be taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
