Investigators want to know what caused a pickup driver to lose control and leave the road Monday. The crash that followed left one person dead and two others injured.
It all played out on County Road L, just two miles west of Wahoo just minutes after noon.
The local Sheriff's Office says three people were raced to Saunders County Medical Center after the rollover crash. One of them was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Victim names will be released after investigators notify their next of kin.
It is believed that none of the occupants were wearing seat belts. Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be involved.
