A group of the city's brightest young professionals gathered at the CenturyLink Center Thursday, connecting with business and community leaders, getting inspired about living and working in Omaha.
The Young Professional Summit gives youngsters options to get involved in the community. "Our mission is to attract young professionals to the greater Omaha area, so this is a great tool we can use to retain our young professionals and educators,” said Sarah Johnson with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. “There are more opportunities in the city and what they should get involved with.”
Nine-time Grammy winner John Legend was the keynote speaker at the summit and put on a private performance for those in attendance. This was the eighth year for the event.
