RFD-TV has given the national Future Farmers of America organization a $1 million donation.
"We hope this contribution will encourage others to take note of the National FFA's outstanding track record with youth and the importance of investing in our future," said Patrick G. Gottsch, founder and president of Omaha-based RFD Communications.
RFD-TV was launched in December 2000. FFA began in 1944.
The National FFA Organization is a national youth organization of 540,379 student members. It provides leadership, personal growth and career planning through agricultural education.
