A letter from the Omaha World Herald has taken many of its subscribers by surprise.
The letter informs customers that their Thanksgiving Day edition will cost an extra $2.75 this year; the extra cost will be automatically added to customers' bills. In the letter, the newspaper says the extra cost is because they're packing more information and "valuable advertising" into the edition.

WOWT 6 News reached out to the Omaha World Herald, asking twice for a comment. So far, our calls have not been returned.
