Get your garbage in a holiday mode. Omaha’s Public Works Department says there will be no garbage, recyclable material or yard waste collection on the Labor Day Holiday, Monday, September 1st.
All collection services for the entire week of September 1st through the 6th will be delayed by one day due to the holiday.
Monday’s materials should be set out for collection on Tuesday, Tuesday’s materials on Wednesday, and Wednesday’s materials set out on Thursday. Normal Thursday collections will be on Friday and Friday’s collections will be on Saturday, September 6th.
You’re asked to set out materials for collection by no later than 6:00 am on your collection day for that week.
The collection schedule will return to its regular schedule the following week, September 8th - 12th.
