The Omaha Symphony will present a family Halloween concert Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
The Symphony Spooktacular will feature Halloween music, a decorated lobby, pre-concert activities and trick-or-treating. Children are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes for a photo opportunity and chance to win prizes.
The orchestra will also be in costume as maestro Ernest Richardson directs them in favorites like Hedwig’s Theme and Double Trouble from the Harry Potter films, and “Ding! Dong! The Witch is Dead” from the Wizard of Oz.
Papillion-LaVista South High School swing choir Titanium and Anne’s Band of Merry Fiddlers will be special guests, performing several songs.
