Omaha Police are investigating whether two robberies that happened minutes are related.
Around 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a robbery at the Subway at 50th and L streets. Employees told officers that the suspect entered the business, showed a gun and demanded money.
After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot.
Fifteen minutes later, officers were called to another robbery at the Hardees near 124th and L streets. The employees also said the suspect entered the business, showed a gun and demanded money.
After receipt of an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene in a white van.
The physical build of the suspect in both robberies was similar and he was wearing a hoodie, gloves and blue jeans with a white bandana over his face.
