Police have identified the second of two men found dead in a pickup truck over the weekend.
Twenty-six-year-old Juan Uribe-Pena was found dead just before 5 a.m. on August 11. Investigators have not yet said how he or the other victim, 29-year-old Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz, died.
No arrests have been made.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz of Omaha was one of the victims. Investigators are still attempting to identify the second man.
An officer on patrol checking the truck at Spring Lake Park Road and F Streets just before 5 a.m. discovered the bodies. Police haven't disclosed how they died, but have said this is being investigated as a double homicide.
When resident Kathy Masters looked outside she saw a lot of commotion and not the kind she wanted. “I thought oh okay, they're having a grand opening for the street. Finally, get that street open. But then I looked on Facebook and they said they found two bodies by the pool."
"I feel scared now because my son and his friends are always around here playing outside, so I feel scared that something like this so close by would happen,” said resident June Campechano.
Masters says in the 30 years she’s lived in the neighborhood something like this has never happened and she doesn't expect it will happen again. “No, because like I said, nothing has happened before. It's a quiet neighborhood, everybody kind of keeps to themselves."
Another resident who called Channel 6 News didn’t want to be interviewed, but did claim he heard two gunshots around 2:20 a.m.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 402-444-5652.
