Omaha Police Need Help Finding Gang-Member & Felon

The Omaha Police Department is asking for public help in locating Ardelle Dunlap - a known gang member, convicted felon and wanted fugitive. Dunlap is a 30-year-old black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his neck.

Dunlap has a felony warrant for his arrest for a violent DV-Strangulation. On Tuesday he attacked the same victim at 40th and Hamilton, pistol whipped her, and car-jacked her vehicle. Later that day, he fled from officers on foot in the area of 34th and 0ak Street. He was not located.

Dunlap is believed to be armed and under the influence of “wet”.

Additional pending felony charges are for felony DV Assault and theft unlawful taking (car jacking).

Dunlap poses a significant threat to the victim and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Dunlap is a known gang member, a convicted felon, has a history of gun possession and flight to avoid. He is also on federal supervised released.

Dunlap is to be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach him. Contact 911 immediately if you see him or know where he is. You may remain anonymous when contacting 911.
