Some Omaha North students are terrified. Students say firecrackers were going off in the halls and balloons were being thrown at students on Thursday.
WOWT Channel Six spoke with a student who didn't want to be identified but says the antics started on Wednesday with a food fight. Now, she's too scared to go to school; she wants answers.
"They should be doing something about it and let us know because I really do not want to go to school tomorrow (Friday) because I am scared."
WOWT Channel Six reached out to the district for more information about their response. OPS Spokesman Todd Andrews says they cannot comment on issues related to student discipline.
