An Omaha man has been given to 25 to 30 years in prison for possessing crack cocaine.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports that 53-year-old Raymond Marion had nearly 10 grams of crack cocaine in a sock and nearly $1,000 in cash on May 31 when he was arrested in Lincoln.
Lincoln police say Marion struggled with officers who tried to arrest him for driving on a suspended license. Officers say that during the struggle the sock with the drugs fell out of one of Marion's pockets.
Marion later pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver. He was sentenced on Tuesday.
