An Omaha man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for producing child pornography.
Federal prosecutors say 50-year-old Douglas Suing was sentenced in federal court in Omaha. After he leaves prison he will be on supervised release for life and must register as a sex offender.
U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg says Suing was arrested in Navajo County, Arizona January 12, 2011 as he was driving back to Nebraska. The search of a hard drive found in his vehicle revealed more than 9,000 videos of child pornography, some including a 12-year-old child living in Omaha.
