The name of an Omaha man who was killed in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Kansas City has been released.
Kansas City Police say the man who died was 39-year-old Thomas G. Salistean. We're told Salistean had been on life support -- so his organs could be donated following the Sunday morning crash.
A passenger in the Omaha driver's car was also killed. She's been identified as Elvia Walters, 36, of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
The crash happened in Kansas City at 31st Street and Euclid Avenue at 2:30 a.m.
The Omaha man was driving a Mustang when he was t-boned by a white Chevy Cruze in the intersection.
The driver of the other car took off running. Kansas City police are still looking for him. He left his injured passenger behind.
