A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Pawnee and Richardson counties in southeast Nebraska until 3 p.m. Thursday.
Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies arrested an Omaha man for his 8th DUI on Friday.
Deputies were called for a disturbance at a Waverly home after a woman told deputies that her brother, 51-year-old Steven Fuehrer, was drunk and drove from Omaha to her house.
Deputies processed Fuehrer for DUI and discovered he had a suspended license.
Lincoln Police say Steven has had a total of eight DUI convictions since 1982. Due to the timing of those convictions, this arrest legally counts as a "4th offense."
Fuehrer was booked for felony DUI (4th offense).
