An Omaha man is arrested for three bank robberies.
Federal prosecutors say Quantal Blake held up a Bank of the West on February 4th and the First Westroads Bank on March 20th. He's also charged in an attempted hold-up of a Premier Bank on March 20th.
If convicted, Blake faces up to 20 years in prison on each charge, fines of up to $750,000 and 3 years supervised release.
In the Westroads Bank robbery two robbers wore disguises and indicated they had a weapon. They left with the money in a light blue van. The van was found in an apartment complex parking a few blocks away.
A check of our WOWT 6 News archives shows Blake has been in the news before. He was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting at 30th and Parker on September 22nd, 2006.
