A third weekly market is held on Wednesday evenings at the Charles Drew Health Center, near 29th and Grant. The market is open July 10 through October 2 between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

More than 100 vendors will be on hand for this season in the Old Market and 85 at Aksarben Village. New this year, will be the first ever mushroom vendor (coming in June).

The Omaha Farmers Market traces its roots back nearly 100 years. It all began on the corner of 11th and Jackson Streets, where Omaha residents, restaurants and grocers came to shop for everything from fruits and vegetables to herbs and honey at Omaha’s City Market.
