Omaha Epilepsy Walk 2013:
On August 25, 2013, communities all over Nebraska will be gathering to advocate for people with seizures to fully participate in all life experiences.
The Annual Nebraska Walk / 5K Fun Run for Epilepsy aims to improve how people with epilepsy are perceived, accepted and valued by society; and to raise funds for local programs to help those living with epilepsy.
There will be activities on site for kids including clowns, balloon makers, face painting, and stilt walkers. Kids are also able to feed the fish and geese at one of the many nearby ponds or have some breakfast with The Pancake Man!
Proceeds raised at this years event will benefit programs and services provided by Lifestyle Innovations For Epilepsy, Inc. (LIFE), a Nebraska non-profit whose mission is helping people with epilepsy improve their quality of LIFE.
