An Omaha couple is furious. They say their daughter's daycare left her in a van for well over four hours.
Monica and James Maxson say their girl attends Little Lamb's Daycare and Preschool Inc. on Harney Street in Omaha. When the daycare dropped off their daughter on Tuesday, they handed them a letter saying that they had left her in a van for a "few" hours. But the Maxson's say they were also told she wasn't found until 2:30. Keep in mind, she was picked up at 8:30 in the morning.
"When they had told me, I freaked out," said Monica. "I said what were you thinking? Who do you have running this place? Who is in charge? Who is suppose to be with my child? I mean, we put our trust in their hands when it comes to our babies."
The Maxson's also showed Channel Six the clothes the daycare changed their daughter into after she had wet herself in the van.
Channel Six tried reaching out to the daycare on Wednesday night. So far, no word, yet.
