Residents have an opportunity to join a virtual open house on a plan to improve rail service between Omaha and Chicago. A web site has been established to explain the project and allow public input.
The study, announced in late January, will seek ways to improve the service from Union Station in Chicago, through Iowa, to downtown Omaha.
