An Omaha boy is in critical but stable condition after being hit by a car Friday night.
Police said 14-year-old Isaac Aragon and a friend were trying to cross 132nd Street between Maple and Fort around 8 p.m. Investigators believe the two were not in a crosswalk when one of the boys stopped for traffic. Isaac did not and was hit by a northbound car.
He was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of a skull fracture and broken leg.
Police said the driver was not at fault and won’t be ticketed.
