The Omaha bicycle sharing program, “B-cycle” is set to expand, offering three additional kiosks with bicycles later this week according to Douglas County officials.
It was two years ago, during the College World Series, B-cycle Omaha installed two temporary bike sharing stations downtown for local residents and visitors. Now, the program offers 43 B-cycles at eight B-stations located in areas like Downtown Omaha, Aksarben Village and UNO.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, community and business leaders will commemorate the three additional kiosks with bicycles at a news conference at 729 North 14th Street.
