Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle helped kick off Omaha Beer Week today at the Infusion Brewing Company in Benson. The 10-day event celebrates craft beers made in and around Omaha.
Organizers of Beer Week want to build on the popularity of craft beer producers in Omaha. "It's grown exponentially probably in the last six or seven years. We obviously have Infusion where we're here today. This is going to be a new brewery opening. There's also one down the block here in Benson," said Nick Spies with Omaha Beer Week.
Omaha Beer Week runs through February 24th.
