A security guard working at Burke High School is out of a job after a report of sexual contact with a student.
Omaha police investigated the incident but determined there was no crime because the student was of the age of consent and the sex was in fact, consensual.
Even though no laws were broken, OPS policy was and a spokesperson says that the security guard will not be back at any Omaha Public Schools.
OPS also says a background check is completed on all people who work for the district, including outsourced security and volunteers.
WOWT 6 News has reached out to the security company who the security guard works for and will update the story as soon as we hear back.
