An Omaha Police Officer has his job back.

WOWT 6 News has learned Omaha Police Officer Bradley Canterbury will get his job back after an arbitrator ruled in his favor Wednesday afternoon.

Officer Canterbury along with five other Omaha police officers was fired after an arrest of three brothers near 33rd and Seward was captured on videotape.

The arbitrator concluded that Canterbury's report, in fact, included inaccuracies, but he could not prove the officer was deliberately trying to hide information or mislead anyone. So he ruled that the officer should get his job back.

For the inaccurate report -- the arbitrator said the officer should get a reprimand.

The city has not decided IF it will appeal the ruling to the District Court. A decision is expected on that by the end of the week.

Hired in 2008, Canterbury was the only officer to appeal his firing with the city.

Canterbury and three other officers were fired last April. Two additional officer were fired earlier this month.
