The Omaha Police Department is encouraging parents to get involved in their children's lives, especially when it comes to cell phone use.
Friday morning OPD posted one mother's rules for her 13-year-old son's cell phone use. The post got more than 30 comments and 100 shares in the first few hours.
"This particular post was put out there as just a little bit of advice and thought process for parents to kind of comment on and to process through on cell phone safety with their kids, and general parenting and now to teach and react with your kids," said Officer James Shade, Public Information Officer for Omaha Police.
