Note Left Behind By Man Swept Away By Sandy

A New Jersey man who took refuge in a stranger's house after he was swept away by Superstorm Sandy left behind a note to his father in case he didn't survive.

The man, identified only as Mike, was taken by waves and currents into Barnegat Bay after the storm destroyed part of his home in Toms River.

He tried to swim back but ended up at a stranger's empty home, soaking wet with barely any clothing.

After wrapping his body in towels, he wrote a letter to the homeowner saying he didn't take anything. He left a phone number to tell his father that he loved him. The homeowner later returned to find the note, but not the man.
