It's a little scary, but a lot of fun at the Omaha Children's Museum. Cobweb Castle, a haunted house that is just perfect for the little ones, is now open through October.
A pirate named Charlotte Longbeard is the hostess of the castle and leads tours every day.
Cobweb Castle combines just the right amount of fun with a little bit of fright to entertain even the youngest visitors.
Melissa Nipper brought her daughter, two-year-old Kate, to Cobweb Castle Tuesday morning.
"It's nice where they have this where she can come and celebrate Halloween. And it's not too scary. And she likes it and is excited," Nipper said.
The castle includes the Pirate's Parlor, Kooky Kitchen, Sir Spooky's Table, and Vampire's Batty Bedroom. There is also a maze called the Ghostly Graveyard.
Cobweb castle is free with regular museum admission.
