The North High Magnet School held its annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon.
Led by Grand Marshall and Superintendent Mark Evans, floats, bands and performance groups made their way from Miller Park North to Bondersson Street. The parade is more than a school event. It has become an opportunity to show community pride in North Omaha.
Parents, students and alumni lined the streets to cheer on marchers from North High and other schools in the North Omaha community.
