One woman was taken to the hospital after a car accident early Saturday morning on the North Freeway at Cuming Street.
Omaha Police were called to the area around 4:15 am Saturday. Police said the woman was ejected from the car and taken to the hospital by another car before first responders arrived on the scene.
Police have identified her as 25-year-old Giavana Carrillo. She is in the hospital with serious head injuries.
Another person was hurt in the crash. Police identified him as 23-year-old Tyler Sanders. He was released later on Saturday morning.
Police believe there was a third person in the car, but said that he took off before they got to the scene.
Police continue investigating the crash.
