A Norfolk man has been given 20-to-40 years in prison for sexually assaulting an underage girl.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Terrill denied having a sexual relationship with the 14-year-old girl. Terrill said at his sentencing last week that
the girl had come on to him. Terrill had pleaded no contest to sexual assault of a child.
Police say the girl reported having sex seven times with Terrill. Under Nebraska law, people 19 and over cannot have sexual contact with people under 16.
Terrill must also register as a sex offender.
