Norfolk Home Destroyed in Fire

Fire has destroyed a two-story Norfolk house in northeast Nebraska.

The fire was reported around 2 a.m. Saturday. When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the unoccupied house.

No one was injured in the blaze, but one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.

Norfolk Fire Marshal Terry Zwiebel is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
