Drivers using West Dodge Road and the expressway at night will have fewer lane options in both directions for about three weeks.
Omaha Public Works says beginning Monday, March 10th, lane restrictions will be in place both directions during nighttime hours.
That's for routine bridge inspections.
The inspections will be conducted nightly between the hours of 8:00 pm to 5:00 am for Eastbound traffic and 9:00 pm to 6:00 am for Westbound traffic.
Although most of the work will only involve lane restrictions, short term closures (approximately 1 hour) will be needed for entrance and exit ramps. During these closures, motorists will need to use alternate routes as directed.
The restrictions will be in place through March 21st.
