The morning commute on this Halloween morning was no treat for commuters in Omaha. Traffic was backed up for miles after a multi-car crash stacked things up on Westbound Interstate 80.
The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. as a two car crash but more vehicles were quickly involved. Traffic was backed up past the Interstate 480 interchange for west bound commuters.
Glass was swept up and cars towed out of the way by 7:30 a.m. but it took 30 minutes to clear up all of the backed up traffic.
There were also crashes reported on Northbound I-480 and Eastbound I-80 near the 42nd Street exit during the peak of the morning rush.
