A trio of accidents on New Year's morning sent four people to the hospital.
Just before one this morning first responders were sent to the 36th St. Exit ramp off of Interstate 80. A Honda clipped a white sedan sending it down an embankment and caused it to land on its top. Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Two hours later responders were called to a head-on collision at 144th & El Dorado. A man in his 20's was heading southbound on 144th when he lost control hitting a car heading north. The female driver suffered minor injuries. The male drive was not hurt. Police say alcohol is a likely factor ion the crash.
Then around 2:30 a woman lost control of her vehicle at 50th and Cass and smashed into a tree. The driver, 26-year-old Jamie Worley was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered facial and leg fractures. She is expected to survive.
