Some OPS children can't wait for school to start and a big part of that might be a new playground.
Laura Dodge Elementary unveiled it's new playground this Thursday evening.
School faculty said it's great for recess, but it will also help gym teachers teach curriculum.
Kids there for the unveiling seemed to love it.
"I like to play at playground, so I like to play with all of my friends," said Shamar Chambers, 4 years-old.
"Probably the slides because they are really tall and fast," said Evie Fay, sixth grader.
There's also a smaller playground for the younger kids.
It was all paid for by a private donor.
