Bellevue Police were on the move Tuesday, relocating to a brand new police station.
The new building is located on 1510 Wall Street and also houses the city’s Planning and Public Works departments.
Police are doing the move themselves, moving from three buildings into one.
BPD’s Laurie Synowiecki said, “There will be a lot of growing pains. All new processes and how we utilize our paperwork and our communication systems. So, it’s a big step forward.”
The new building cost Bellevue taxpayers $8.5 million.
Police hope to be completely moved in by this weekend.
