The Groundwater Foundation and Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska are proud to announce the arrival of the Let’s Keep It Clean patch program.

Through this program, Girl Scouts all over Nebraska will have the opportunity to learn about the water we drink and the water that supports the growth of our food: groundwater.

Patch books and patches are available for every level of Girl Scout: from Daisy to Ambassador.

No matter their level, each Girl Scout will be able to take action to protect groundwater and teach others how to be stewards of this precious resource.

In addition to the patch books, Girl Scouts may participate in day camps and Camp Adventure Weekends to learn about groundwater and earn their patches!

At these camps, Girl Scouts will investigate how groundwater becomes polluted and what they can do to help keep it clean.

As an added bonus, Girl Scouts who participate in Let’s Keep It Clean camp programs will have the opportunity to earn their Groundwater Foundation passport stamp.

Girl Scout personnel, camp staff, and troop leaders will have opportunities to learn more about the new patches through workshops provided by The Groundwater Foundation.
