New Bank Opens Inside Elementary School

Students at Hoover Elementary School in Council Bluffs are learning how important it is to save money with a hands-on lesson.
U.S. Bank opened a branch in Hoover Elementary Tuesday. It is completely run by students for the students.
Fifth grader Jocelyn Hendrixs said, "I thought this would be a great learning opportunity. I think this will help me later in life and get into a good college get a good career later on."
This is the fifth bank to be opened inside a school in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area. The banks are sponsored by U.S. Bank and the UNO Center for Economic Education.
