Neighbor Gets Mother, Infant From Burning Home

No one was hurt, but a Bellevue home was heavily damaged by fire Friday morning.

A neighbor saw flames on the front porch of the house near South 28th and Harrison streets around 10:15 a.m. and knocked on the back door to alert a mother and her 5-month-old. The blaze was declared under control at 10:54 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
