A 43-year-old southeast Nebraska man has been accused of misusing a company credit card to buy thousands of dollars' worth of items for himself.
Michael Capehart was arrested at his Fairbury home on Wednesday.
Police say an audit of the company's financial records showed Capehart had made more than $4,000 in credit card purchases for himself. Police say he also took a company cellphone and added it to his personal service.
Capehart is charged with felony theft and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.
A Jefferson County jailer said Capehart remained in custody on Thursday. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
